Types of Homeowners Insurance

Did you know that there are eight types of standard homeowner's insurance policies, each of which have vastly different coverages? The following is a brief rundown of the "HO" policy types and what they generally cover.

HO-1: Basic Form - Covers home & personal belongings from 10 named perils, which are:

HO-2: Broad Form

HO-3: Special Form

HO-4: Contents Broad Form

HO-5: Comprehensive Form

HO-6: Unit-Owners Form

HO-7: Mobile Home Form

HO-8: Modified Coverage Form
